Hannah Flora

OrcheSTARS! - Choir Teaching Artist

Hannah Flora graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of California Santa Cruz in 2018 with a B.A. in Music (Vocal Performance). She then went on to graduate with distinction from California State University Northridge in 2020 with an M.M. in Music (Vocal Performance). She is now currently working toward her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science.

Music has been Hannah’s world her whole life, but her passion for ensemble singing began with her high school choir, and from there only expanded with high level chamber ensembles and opera during her undergraduate and graduate years. She spent most of her college years managing vocal ensembles and performing, and now serves as the Stage Manager for UCSC’s spring operas.

As much as she loves music and singing, Hannah is equally passionate about teaching. She has taught all ages, but has a particular passion for teaching young children. She strives to create a learning environment that is supportive, inclusive, accessible, and engaging for all students. Hannah believes that there is always more to learn and there is always room to grow, both for herself and for her students.
