Lower Strings Teaching Artist

Christine Craddock is a double bassist and music educator. She is a member of the Monterey Symphony, and currently on leave from the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, the Tulsa Symphony and the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas.

Christine has taught students of all ages from middle school through university, including at the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Baptist University, and is on the faculty of the Oklahoma Bass Bash summer workshop for young players. She has taught masterclasses and presented papers at a variety of conferences, workshops and symposiums. Christine holds degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Oklahoma, and studied with Jeff Bradetich, Diana Gannett and Anthony Stoops.
